One disadvantage of my as yet unused new wheelbarrow is that it will not fit through my back passage

Wow dave that must've been difficult dealing with a suitcase there.

Flo ...just have to widen your back passage then

I have a ginnel at the end of the row, not a back passage. We aren't allowed to put anything in it as it is part of a public footpath, not that anyone ever uses it, it is impassable in places. The footpath that is not the ginnel. iPad doesn't like the word ginnel, keeps changing it to finely!

We have a side entry - same as back passage - when we saw house we thought great and it is - excellent dumong area - the planis to put aproper wood store there but it just seems to get takenover by garden things - can't think why

Have you to change it Flo,? I need mine to wheel compost bags etc so can imagine the problems

If the iPad just did what it wanted wonder if we would understand any of it

Oh dear Flo.  You have though inspired me to replace my increasingly rusty old buider's one...hasn't helped that Bloke uses it to mix concrete in when he's doing manly stuff here.

Have also got one of these

which is very useful. And should fit most back passages.

My gran had a ginnel at her place in little hulton , OH knows ginnel and he from up here ...guess must be northern Geoff. Southerners probably have posh names

Glyn, surely you mean Snicket!

Shoving wheelbarrows down winding impassable back passages!

What have I got myself into!

Oo-er missus!! It's getting through the chicken gate that's the problem. Though the passage has always been a bit inconvenient partly because of 'stuff' stored there. OH and I had to lift it over the gate. Luckily the barrow is going to be mostly used in the back garden and I can go through the garage if I need to access the front.

Good evening everyone
I like it on here so won't be going anywhere else -I thought it a bit odd starting another thread.
Barry helped me sort out greenhouse no.3 today so I can carry on sorting my bigger plants out. 3pots of Osteospermums survived in the cold greenhouse - they looked a bit ropey but after I cleaned them up and trimmed them back they look o.k. I will give them a feed tomorrow. I have been in the greenhouses for most of the day -it feels good to get so much done
Becks or Bunny - do you have any spare dinner please - don't feel like cooking!
