I cannot believe those were their business ideas, very lame in my opinion. I did get the impression that Jade had changed her mind and was off to make drunken jellies. Nick will probably be a huge success in the future.

The skies are clearing I may be able to do some gardening today.

Have been outside but there is a chilly wind-have made up 4 more wall baskets with the new guinea busy lizzies but waiting for more to flower to complete the task- they seem so slow and trying to get one colour in each one-2 to go-perhaps later in the week .

The BBC have apparently been hammered for their coverage of yesterday's pageant.

Alina W

Deservedly so - it was pretty pathetic.

kate1123

I agree they seemed to have too many presenters and not enough research.

I had a good 40 mins in the garden before it rained, I had hoped to plant out more dahlias while the ground was wet.

Have you ever grown Amaranthus, my seedlings look more like Verbena??

sotongeoff

Never grown amaranthus-Alina will know

Just seen enormous beetle black and around 2 inches long-a female stag?

Anyone fancy a chocolate rice-crispie cake-have just made some-you will need to be quick

kate1123

Sounds more like a cockroach to me.

I managed to plant a dahlia and 6 verbena bonariensis before it rained.

Did you make them with your own fair hands?

sotongeoff

It was not a cockroach or I would have ate it

I did make them- on a whim-I am quite capable if I feel in the mood-not many left now.

Are we watching pop people tonight?

kate1123

I may record it and fast forward, if I remeber correctly there is a lot of padding.

Are they tasty?

sotongeoff

Tasty? Tasty?-they are like me all brown and bloody gorgeous

There will be padding whilst they constantly reset the stage-Robbie will sing Angels-OH will cry

kate1123

I would never imagine cockroaches to to be gorgeous.

sotongeoff

I don't know they breed pretty quickly so something must find them gorgeous-probably another cockroach.

I am going to have to re-post the quiz-need more contestants.

kate1123

I have spent my drachma already, need new T&Cs.

Everything has a predator

sotongeoff

I am not eating cockroaches but just had another crispie cake.

Delighted to find Jo on this thread, and to hear she is doing well. I am inundated with tent caterpillars--a real plague this year. They must taste nasty, as the birds won't eat them. They certainly look disgusting when I squish them.

FloBear

1)
2) mite invade your greenhouse
3) Queen of Tonga or somewhere like that
4) Florizel Street (or was that a disinfectant?)

FloBear
