Am back from the shopping-washing now on line and the cleaning has started

Strangely enough there were no cakes in any shops-I did cross examine assistants apparently someone with a little girl in tow in jim-jams carrying strawberries and carrots, snaffled the whole late last night

23/08/2012 at 12:33

I was trying to redeem myself. Do you know how hard it was to find cakes that late at night.

23/08/2012 at 12:55

You are redeemed, forgiven and all other sins are wiped clean so you can start again to lead a blameless life

What shall I have for lunch?

23/08/2012 at 12:58

Well, I'm about to do fresh egg mayonaisse cobs with the rest of the ham joint, sliced.

Settled on cheese and pickle sarnies

Am I correct in thinking that Jess is 3, and therefore her next birthday cake will have FOUR CANDLES.

Serving suggestion...

You are correct Gary! And I could just imagine letting her loose on that!

23/08/2012 at 13:32

I came across another example of FOUR CANDLES, just yesterday.

It was in a book about dream interpretation. It was part of a vision, in a dream, experienced by a woman, which she then painted...

http://i849.photobucket.com/albums/ab51/falcosubbuteo/four-candles2.jpg

The explanation of the dream was that they were lighting the way to some form of expansion of consciousness.

I have not been sitting in the sun.

23/08/2012 at 13:35

I soon will be-sitting in the sun that is

More pictures of girls doing the flappy hand thing and hugging-exam results re-visited

23/08/2012 at 13:40

Hmm, that picture. Could be a bit painful when all four candles burn all the way down to the bottom.

So Geoff first you mention the C word then you talk about the end of summer, you return with no cakes and you want to tell us about your summer hols

Gary showing cakes without offering to buy is a little unfair

23/08/2012 at 13:58

Just been discussing camp sites with OH - he is shocked at the prices (could have gone to Port Grimaud for that much!!) Maybe Dan or Kate's parents won't mind a tent in their garden.....

23/08/2012 at 14:13

It is a pity Lottie that my gran is still not around as she would have welcomed you with open arms in exchange for a cream cake.

23/08/2012 at 14:17

You could have gone to Grimaud Lottie-all that sun,sea and surf and other stuff-when are you planning to go to Cornwall-how much a night is it nowadays?

Back in the sin-bin
