Couldn't you get one already plucked. Not sure if the colourful jacket and bag ensemble go that well without socks. You've dropped your walking stick.

All the talk of chocolate- have just had a choc chewy bar as my treat of the day! J.

03/10/2012 at 13:12

That is the swan's walking stick-can you not see it is valiantly trying to pick it up with its beak?

Geoff

I have been busy labelling my dahlias, so next year I might be organised

03/10/2012 at 13:31

Labelling, Kate? I've no idea what that means.

03/10/2012 at 13:37
Yes, Geoff, Internet wilderness, I am now addicted to Solitaire on the netbook. Come back Internet, all is forgiven. Still eating lots of chocolate. Geese in the field opposite our house, fortunately far enough away not to be noisy.

Off home to do some marking In the relative piece and quiet.

Afternoon all!

Sun is nice and well, sunny today!

Glad your heating's sorted jo. Some things you can do without for a while, but heating when winter is fast approaching, no.

Geoff, your sandals are hideous!

Flo, I'm with you. Kate, please explain labelling.

Jessies Little Mermaid costume has arrived. Sigh of relief.

03/10/2012 at 14:03

I think Becks those nails needed painting-I trust we will see a picture of the Little Mermaid?

Isn't labelling like slander only written down on a label-whereas slander is calling a plant by the wrong name out loud-or am I getting it wrong?

There is a football vacancy at Bournemouth

Am another solataire on pc addict. Drives daughter mad. But you can watch tv, sort of, & certainly listen to radio whilst playing it.

Getting things done, but very slowly for some reason. Almost wish had done some washing today as that wind pretty strong & things would be flapping well. You just watch us be the area that gets 'possibly a small shower' tomorrow as have a garden day planned.

Bye again. I will not return until have finished - I will not return until I have finished...... J.

03/10/2012 at 14:23

I have not labelled before so I am a novice at it and cannot really give advice but I have heard that grown ups do it?

03/10/2012 at 14:30

Just to clear up any confusion that is not a picture of me-my neck is not that long.

Jo stop planning- go with the flow,go where the music takes you, be a free spirit. Rome wasn't built in a day it will still be there tomorrow-I have said all these things before but they fall on deaf ears

03/10/2012 at 14:42

Aah Kate, that explains it all. I'm not a grown up yet!

Geoff, I knew it wasn't really you. Not a hint of Y-Fronts there.

03/10/2012 at 14:50

Do swans wear Y-Fronts?

03/10/2012 at 15:04

No, but thongs wear swans!

03/10/2012 at 15:06

How long did it take you to find that?

03/10/2012 at 15:08

Ha ha ha. After a few choice words in search! Did you do the same? There are no swans, at all, wearing Y-Fronts!! Shocking!

03/10/2012 at 15:15

Soz to be sooo boring, but have to plan as so many things going on in next few days/weeks. Dont do complicated these days. J.

03/10/2012 at 15:16

Yay! Remembered how to do it....... pathetic yes, but harmless, honestly. J.

Some culture. Leda and the swan by Leonardo...

The swan, with its long neck and such is supposed to have some kind of symbolism.

I really don't know what brought this picture to mind.

I went for swans wearing underpants

Bit like man eating tiger
