Yeah, I'll give them a call again.

11/10/2012 at 21:17

You realise I can't got to bed with knowing if they have been

11/10/2012 at 21:47

Right, well the lady I've just spoke to said my order was never loaded on the van, where as the chap before said the computer confirmed it was loaded and definately coming tonight. Long story short, it isn't. It's coming in the morning now. They've added a £10 e-voucher to my account, and I get free delivery on my next order.

11/10/2012 at 21:50

Annoying but I am pleased that you have some vouchers.

11/10/2012 at 21:53

Not sure that £10 is enough-but if you are happy.

11/10/2012 at 21:53

I mentioned I knew you and Geoff. She sort of panicked and then offered them.

11/10/2012 at 21:55

Geoff, my shopping budget for a week is £30, including delivery, so it'll do.

11/10/2012 at 22:00

If it hasn't put you out too much the fair enough-she probably has limits on what can be offered -it depends whether you want to make a fuss or consider it a bonus.

11/10/2012 at 22:04

It hasn't put me out really Geoff. And I'm not a fuss maker. Might make me a bit of a doormat but I like an easy life. So yes, it's considered a bonus.

11/10/2012 at 22:09

I have done fireworks and champagne earlier-will not sleep now-

11/10/2012 at 22:56

Well that's me fed with the scraps left at the bottom of the freezer. Going to treat myself to an early night. Catch you all tomorrow. xx

Evening all, too much to catch up on but saw the fireworks and Asda vouchers. I once got hit on the head by a rocket at a fireworks display, so happier with yours Geoff. At least I'm safe from falling debris.

I shall have to do the insomnia on your behalf Becks!

Figrat, that bread sounds yummy, I LOVE fresh bread. I too cannot resist, especially if there is cherry jam. We had a lovely loaf the othe day (not home made though) but OH had picked up unsalted butter by mistake and it was just lacking!

Morning, off to work, so can't chat, but thought I would say hello and have a nice day. Hope you don't have to wait in all day again Becks.

Saw Choir last night. Possibly losing its magic. But that episode was interesting to me because Severn Trent HQ is not far from here. I pay my water rates to them. My bill alone pays the wages of half the people in that show. Interesting to see that they thought they were 'under pressure'. Reassuring to know they are not slacking, at my expense.

Been outside with the bird-feed. It's damp and dreary at the moment, although a bright sunny morning is forecast. Might be able to do a few jobs.

Hello to all the early-risers-have been to the dentist and back again and only just 9.30

I like the fact that water workers feel under pressure

Have had a an e-mail telling me energy contract ends at the end of November on the day that it is announced that prices are to rise again -so comparison sites here I come

They said it was going to be warm and sunny today, what happened

Becks we will need regular updates on the shopping.

Geoff your time management is impressive.

Gary I agree, I think in the previous series the people needed Gareths help, this  comes across as just another reality show.
