Did you do earlies or main crop Lottie. All my earlies have been harvested now. Hoped they'd at least go until a yearly event that is happening in December which celebrates the birth of our Lord!

Becks, I grew both - most of the earlies have been eaten (apart from a few I just dug up), and the main crop are now dug and ready to store in paper sacks.

I would look good in leopard print!

I have shredded and hoovered and now it is time for some chocolate cake before I start dinner.

Am planning on going for afternoon tea, Gary - the T-Rex suit may not fit in the tea shop!

It is past the Asda deadline and we haven't had  an update- do I need to organise red cross parcels?

Did anyone see Antique Road trip yesterday. A visit was made to a place I'm ashamed to say Titchmarsh (no disrespect) came from. My bluff was called when I thretened to fil the previous garden with the little fat dumpy things - somehow they went with Honey fungus!- so I was taken to it and one was chosen for me. He does have a wheelbarrow and now character as his nose was broken in the move. Yep I have a gnome!!!!

I am celebrating, Lottie----only one small leak in the roof so far! I am finishing off yesterday's bacon and mushroom quiche for breakfast, and plan to curl up with a good book this afternoon. The dogs looked quite puzzled on their morning walk; guess they had forgotten what rain is like--wet!

Lottie I still need to know when you are coming so that bunting and a parade can be organised-do you have a big entourage?

Yes, I did see Antiques Road Trip. It came from Cornwall. They featured a museum of quaint wireless sets. Road Trip is on now. Must rush.

Nothing wrong with having gnomes, or fairies. They add character to a garden.

Geoff - no entourage, just me and OH. I had some Avios points to use (use them or lose them) so we decided on a weekend away but didn't want to travel too far. The plan is to visit some local attractions - OH has Beaulieu in mind. We have a hotel booked for 2 nights next weekend (as in a week today)!!

I opened today's post at work to find that the council have written to us about planning permission - ASDA want to build a store practically next door! Yes please, would be so convenient! Not sure the houses down the road will be too impressed though.

Asda deliveries are the biggest ar*****es in my book at the moment. Still no delivery. Just been put through to the duty manager of the depot where it is coming out of, and he found my uncompleted order out there in the warehouse. So yet another £10 goodwill voucher has been added to my account, and a guarantee of it turning up tomorrow morning, as he is on duty again. Will it turn up, I don't know. Very peed off at the moment.

Oh Becks how annoying  Geoff will send the boys around for you. Make sure that they do a fresh shop or your use by dates could be out of date.
