Noooooooo, it has all gone a bit Sarah Beeny, he fell out with his builders and now he and family and friends are finishing it. It looks quite nice but the noise is driving me batty.

OMG!  OH is planning to take up gardening when he retires. He wants to do the veg growing- fine over to you!! His Dad was a retired farmer who grew vegs & it's amazing how much OH can remember him doing/saying even though his Dad died when OH a young child.

Back in a bit. J.

Afternoon everyone

It is good to see you Kate

I tried to make some crackers once Becks - just couldn't get the hang of it

The house got a shock today - I did some housework

We have two little people to look after this evening  They will arrive around 6pm  bringing their blow up beds with them  I love their company - we will have lots of nibbles and watch SCD until Tolly gets fed up and wants to watch Humph

Have a  lovely evening

Pam that is a great idea I have all those ingredients

Glyn do you find the tasks  never ending?

24/11/2012 at 16:22

Ok am sort of back until need to start meal.

Cross with myself as overslept, all of us this morning, & so was late going shopping, but that was fine actually.

OH & daughter then decided they were going 'C' shopping for me. I debated going into the garden to continue sorting a border, but the rain was due anytime so didnt & sat & read the paper instead. That was my 'treat' after completeing & posting back the form. Of course it didnt start to rain until as began to go dark, so could have gone out after all.

Just resigned myself to OH taking up gardening.......

Kate- hope that you soon get a '2cnd wind'. J.

Hello,all--it's a beauttiful morning here--finally!

Howled at the cat-washing directions!

Kate, I know what you mean about arguing with a 12-year old. Exhausting. I found it best to refuse to engage. But I did get a hug from one the other day!

I have been cutting down on smoking--so far quite successfully. Might get myself a patch or an inhaler if I decide to go cold turkey. But not until after Christmas!
