Watering something is not brain surgery

The 5 charity bags of clothes have not been collected-a van when up and down the road an hour ago without stopping-have phoned charity again -waiting a call back-and they complain that donations are down

Have just strimmed some wet grass.

Quite easy. No disasters ensued.

I like strimming wet grass.

No obstacles,no disasters,no calls to trading standards?

Have just planted 3 of my roses and heeled in 2. Have also typed up on plant list what and where they are.

In one place nearly made a pot for you all such wet clay. OH just shouted at me because of state of shoes, well more mud than shoes. He is now chopping wood to make sure we are well stocked up for the cold.

In that old garden book I found it says December is a good time to top dress, delphniums, peaonies and something else with wood ash. Have so much of stuff will follow old garden knowledge and do so, but not now. Now is mug of tea time.

Oh,Jean, that's terrible. No wonder Becks is feeling poorly if she was allowed to dry out.

Another alternative, Geoff. I could always have my body made into a diamond or even a box of pencils.

You're all so funny! Just had a dip in the bath in peace!

Pam, no potatoes still growing. All been eaten now.

Q: Which is the odd one out: a carrot, a spud, a knife?

A: Carrot.

Because you can make chips with the other two.

wood ash or bonfire ash can be put on crowns of delphniums, peonies, lupins and bulbs such as lilies, gladiolus, and camassias - 2 handfuls a plant it says

Just thought you may like to know especially those who burn wood.

Havng my mug of tea now. About to light fire.

28/11/2012 at 15:24

Why on earth do you lick pencils????

28/11/2012 at 15:37

I lied-Arkwright used to lick pencils.

28/11/2012 at 15:45

I worry about you, I really do. You've been hanging round that Dean too long!

28/11/2012 at 15:46

The charity bags have been collected by people who do not speak a word of English-but they had ids

28/11/2012 at 15:47

Desperate Dean from now on

28/11/2012 at 15:47

That'll all be on ebay by tomorrow!!

28/11/2012 at 15:54

There maybe some grubby Y-fronts in there for 99p-buyer washes

28/11/2012 at 15:57

Always take charity stuff to shop. You can then do Gift Aid contribution forms on the goods they sell and so the charity gets more money.

then you also know where its going. I know its easier to have it collected though.

Got a charity bookshop near us - very useful.

Have checked the weather forecast and don't like what I see. Also, the clouds are moving in the wrong direction. This is a bad sign. Where did I put those thermals??
