I won some rose bushes, 4-5 I think in a raffle on IOM in 70s. At the time we didnt even have a house, let alone a garden, so my parents took some & MIL the rest. Parents' ones were still going when we sold the house in'11. MIL moved so I expect hers stayed up at the bungalow.
Daughter has just eaten a decent meal & has settled down for a sleep!
I still need to finish some sorting of 'airing' which is dumped on my bed. The 'new' airing cupboard is brill, especially on the top shelf, which is higher than the boiler. With the previous set up the hot water tank was well lagged, so although some heat escaped, not that much. Wish I didnt need the step ladders & a walking stick all the time though. 
The lower shelf is where I keep clean towels, but isnt half as warm. Under the lot is room for a box of toilet rolls, shampoos etc, so all in all a good useful space!
