yeah, I've got the cotton wool, and cut out a template on a white T-Shirt. It's just faffing about getting the shape and mouth hole right!! Done now.

Feeling very virtuous now, as most of my cards written.

Finished an excellent read this am, Still Alice, about a professor with early onset Alzheimer's. Briliant book, made me smile and cry. I looked after my mum when she had the disease.

Have to go back to Costco today, OH bought some Hunter Wellies, good price but wrong size!

Gnats in the garden, it must be warm.

Afternoon all. Been running Dog Rescue shop single handed this am. Still have no Christmas cards.

Enjoyed catching up, you lot makes me larf nipper - as we used to say in old Southampton back in the day.

Inka, with you 100%. Reminded me of Dunblane tragedy and the desperate sick feeling when the news came in.

Geoff, forgotten what the choccy clue was but my guess is an ice-hole

My guess for Advent chocy - what's at the South Pole - a Macdonalds and Gift Shop - their signature dish is - crispy Penguin Nuggets with fries.

My guess for Jess's pressie - crayons, 2 colouring books (to use the crayons with), and 2 sweets.

Right Christmas tree is now installed in a pot in Big room. Just made some mince pies - disaster - tried to follow a WW idea - took twice as long and well the one that was worse than all the rest had to be eaten - not very WW

Having a break while rolls are on 2nd proving then decorating the tree oh and baking the rolls

Bjay, I had a very ironic situation yeasterday. Went to a 'do' at OH's drama group and it was held in the same room that we have our WW meetings! So there was I grazing happily on the lovely buffet mere inches from where I shall bound (ahem) on to the scales next Wed. I only had TWO puddings, btw Glad you tested out the mince pies, I won't bother if it takes so long.

Yes, Geoff, well behaved dogs on leads are allowed in the shop. There's even a buccy jar on the counter.

The reason I asked was I went into an RSPCA charity shop in Romsey-trez snotty- and was not allowed to bring the dog in-just struck me as odd at the time
