Morning, forkers----well, we have survived the end of the world and Christmas, too! Lovely day with my niece yesterday--lots of food and pressies--then we played backgammon and watched a movie after dinner. She gave me a lovely cement sculpture of the Green Man for the garden, and we spent time Skyping with her family in Australia, where they were lounging around in 30 degree weather and eating loads of scrummy food.Sigh. Can't remember the sun! So she leaves today--we will probably do some visiting this afternoon.

Right lovely like minded gardening people! I is off to eat! Have been awarded a Samsung galaxy tab 2 from Santa! Nice piece of kit if I am honest! Still getting my head around how it works!

But this laptop is now starting to do my head in! Slow! Nearly full! But it is old n served it's purpose to be fair! Kid's research, schooling etc! It's been a family affair!

Gunna invest in a new one in the sales! Any recommendations?

Dean-I have no shares in Asda -or Dell-but this looks a good price-the trouble is it is a crowded market place-hard to recommend anything, default,pd.html

WE've got his and hers Dell lap tops. Inspiron. Mine is red his is black and wireless mouses that are really good. We had them as Chrissi treats last year.No complaints.

As we didn't know what we were doing went with  a list of requirements to PC World. Others may be more cyber understanding than us

Hi all, just read that thread. Trouble is you dont realise about the nasty piece of work until too late.

My typing is being affected by el vino again..... Had to cook more vegs to do the bubble & squeak for tonight. Bad planning on OH's part yesterday, or we ate too many......

I managed not to buy anything on e-bay- swanksmiley- but got OH to buy stuff on Amazon for me.

Have already 'lost it' with the Royal Institution Christmas lecture & I did Alevel chemistry.... J.

I've been lounging all day, lovely! Seems to be a constant round of washing up though. I need a dish washer, but no space, there's always OH though!

Have you had a dull day's play Becks?
