Have just gone back through endless pages to find Jo's rissole recipe. It's on 771 if anyone else is interested. Have now written it down in my book, it's made of paper and you use a pen to write on the paper, for those who are kindling mad

Welcome back Becks, made a mistake earlier

Afties all!

The weather did not favour my intended exploits of the day!
Very, very dark, very, very wet, and very, very windy! : (
But did get some potting on done in the polytunnel, so the day was not in vain! ; )

Now home n in the warmth! : )

On with Sunday roast chuck, n virgin oil soaked Mediterranean style veggie's : )

Sasha-copy it- then open Word and paste-does that make sense?

30/12/2012 at 14:35

Zippy, at least you got something done .

I am (at last ) learning not to set myself too many gaols nowadays and am trying to take life as it comes then what you do achieve it satisfying and hey there is always another day. Mind you the very dark and very windy don't sound too appealing

Dean-time to open the curtains and get up-a visit to the little boys room might also solve the very windy problem

30/12/2012 at 14:47

Panto, phew.....managed to do it.....it is called WordPad on my laptop and I have never used it before so many thanks for pointing me in the right direction

Same thing-sort of-now you need to sort out an avatar for your profile

And stay out of gaols

: ) : ) : )

Geoff! I do like sleep! But to an extent! : )

Sasha! An old gardening guy I know once told me years back!

"The only thing as a gardener you can not control is the weather, so work with it, coz you sure as hell will achieve nothing working against it"

Just has half hour of panic - no electricity for cooker and CH. Couldn't work out which switch in fuse box did what. Next door neighbour came, switched wrong one and all electricity went off. Then he Switched correct one, checked cooker, importantly CH then found we had no internet. Taken ages to get that up and running again.

Now it's pouring and a cold wind, did get in garden a bit this morning.

Keep finding stuff that doesn't start again - latest was tumble dryer. Probably clocks next, son will have a shock when he comes home from work.

Now have to work out what tripped switch in first place!

30/12/2012 at 15:02

Oh dear Bjay! That doesn't sound too good. Maybe it's your wheelbarrow!

30/12/2012 at 15:06

Might be. Just worried in case happens again, so made up the fire; easy, quick cook dinner and fingers crossed.

Nearly used it this morning.but then thoght 'noo' might get a bit muddy

This wheelbarrow will be a museum piece at this rate-I would be having races by now
