I1973 - perhaps I should have worded that differently. The exertions were gardening ones....nothing else

Well I had to ask!  Call me Becks!

Hello Tarzan!!

05/01/2013 at 17:42

Evening all - I've been watching Dambusters too!  Am I the only one who hasn't done any gardening over the past few days?  My excuse is that the weather here in Wales hasn't been as good as it has in other parts!

Dove - hope you've had a good day in London and glad your relatives in Oz are OK.

Dean - very impressive work you've done there

Jo - thanks for the tip about post-it note on calendar - great idea.  Have now added one with details of hiding place!

Haven't done a bleeding thing Caz- and won't for weeks-my excuse is because I am a lazy sod

05/01/2013 at 17:44

No Caz, I haven't done a tap. But I don't grow flowers, just veg. That is my excuse. Nothing can be started yet.

Some have started-and will go splat

05/01/2013 at 17:47

That makes me feel much better Tarzan and meBecks!

PW came from local GC.

Like the idea of a pink trug. The one I have at the mo is the one that came free with GW mag all those years ago and clogged up the postal service

I think post it on Oct is a good idea as well.

Caz, me neither, I have only looked out of the window to see what's going on. Got up late, went shopping, now watching footy.

Jess did plant 2 tomato seeds and a pepper seed in october, which have now spiralled they are that thin and leggy. Does that count?? Trying to explain to a then 3 year old about lighting conditions, weather and waiting until Spring does not go down too well.

Southampton lost-only slightly

Brighton won though!

I have planted garlic today as it likes frosting. last year I frosted it by keeping it in fridge as forgot to plant it! Did get some small bulbs. there is a tech trem for frosting I think

05/01/2013 at 17:53

05/01/2013 at 17:54

Frosting? Like the icing??

Geoff, it's way to wet and soggy.
