I see Sky news and yahoo have picked up the story of the family caught in the fires in Tasmania http://uk.news.yahoo.com/oz-wildfires-rage-temperatures-ease-052201014.html

Hi Becks.

I have had Ringtons tea for the past 20 years, very reputable company, nice delivery people and good quality. As you say a bit on the pricey side, but I have my tea delivered every fortnight and if I'm not in he will leave it for me and I pay him next time. Very scrummy biscuits and cakes as well. I have never been hassled by them and don't get any phone calls etc.

Chris.

Miss Becks

That's nice to know Dean/Chris! I have chosen the Triple chocolate cookies as my freebie biscuits.

Matty2

Do they do loose tea?

sotongeoff

Dean has been plotbound-I probably have a cream or medicine for that as well

I expect they lose a lot of tea-especially if it spills on the floor

Miss Becks

I think me and Asda deliveries have fell out once too often. Another cock up this week, leaving me temporarily out of pocket. Time for me to try Sainsburys or Tesco I think.

Matty2

Becks you kept quiet about Asda.

Think that cartoon is, well, amusing

Sad news - next door's dog may be saying goodbye to this life. Just had her (owner not dog) sobbing on phone. went to vet on Monday with her. only 8 years old

Well, since no one delivers my groceries, I'm off to go and get some. Not raining today after yesterday's deluge.

What a lucky escape from the bushfires in Tassie---heartbreaking that they lost everything, though.

Hope everyone has had a good day--just coming up to noon here.

Evening all - sorry I'm late for registration (well I have been in school all day and at least was on time for that register).  What have you all been up to today?  Can see Geoff is back on top form .  Typical that today was the best weather we've had here for ages and I was stuck indoors all day.

sotongeoff

Caz !!-me too stuck indoors as well-but that was voluntary

Corrie on now

Miss Becks

Bjay, it's only happened this evening. They took the money for the shopping out this morning, but there was an item not available when they delivered it this evening, £6.50's worth, which they've still took the money for this morning. Phoned them, and will have to wait 3-10 days for the money to go back in my account. Not happy, but such is life!

I seem to be spending my days lately shouting at peeps in call centres for shoddy service! Sky, Asda!

What is the UK coming to!!

Caz W

Hope you get some compensation Becks - they're all very quick to take your money!
