Chris - collared doves nest building here too and they are so fussy about selecting the perfect twig! They are taking them from my garden and building nest in neighbour's conifer.
Love the look of that plant Jean. Well worth a try if you like a challenge and if you could propagate it/collect seed you could make your fortune .

It's not raining now, have just taken two of the dogs out. One has come back with a small bone he found. When dog no.3 gets back (she's out with OH) a fight will ensue
