Hi Pam, tablet is presumably for rest of life! It's because bones are showing the early stages of thinning- osteoperosis- joy!

Had a bone scan as routine because of other tablets taking & the type of chemo had had/having.   Drs decided that must've already been showing signs of early problems before I started treatment. Hence the tablet, which you take weekly & for which you must remain vertical (!) if not fully awake in my case.

You take it weekly with a lot of water, all plain, to wash it quickly down to the stomach, as one of it's side effects is erosion of walls of oesophagus. No food nor drink until at least 30mins, so who absently took a chewable vitamin c tablet earlier? Which reminds me, need to get rest of meds otherwise will forget to take those J.

-7° here. Snow is crunchy. Blue sky. The sort of day that would be 35° in August! I hope you are wearing pyjamas and a dressing gown Geoff, not dressed sounds a bit chilly!

Does she not serve breakfast in bed?-what sort of organisation are you running there?

Liz -dressing gown on

Morning all, just nipping in for registration.

Not so cold here today, no frost though snowflakes that fell yesterday are still on roofs across the road. White chaenomeles outside the front door is heaving with buds, always an early flowerer.

Dove, I know you won't get this until it's over, but teachery waves of goodwill are heading your way.

17/01/2013 at 10:31

Ah Geoff also been 'doing a Kit'

Need to get going on what had planned to do today, but decided to refill birdfeeders & attack the compost bin first. Might now be warmer than first thing, but still 0C & it's trying to snow!! Also managed to unstick the lid of big coldframe which was frozen down! Dont need it open of course but that's not the point.

Right need to get busy to keep warm. J.

17/01/2013 at 10:42

Ok -all hands stand down- call off mountain rescue and the St Bernard's-I survived to make it back home-but it was a close-run thing phew.........

17/01/2013 at 10:44

Becks we know exactly how old you are-close enough for mid-life crisis

17/01/2013 at 10:45

"Play Misty for Me" is a psychological thriller with Clint Eastwood about an unbalanced girl who falls for a DJ. I saw it years ago. A bit "Fatal Attraction"ish.

17/01/2013 at 10:49

Ooh, I love Fatal Attraction Lizzie! Might see if they have that on Love Film.

Geoff, shut up!!
