But do I have to share ?
Was the owner of this house a Bond villain Bjay?
Yes you do have to share, and more than just 1 each - punishment for telling awful joke on another thread (did make me laugh though)
It is one of my favourites-someone asked once if it was a true-which made it funnier
Yes please - do share - only way I can eat chocolate pretty please
He wasn't a Bond villain, but ----well---- who knows------
Hope he doesn't read this forum He wouldn't know who the hell i am any way
jo, do you have shares in all these shops?? You seem to do an awful lot of shopping?
Right, just got time to make a cuppa before Carol Klein's programme starts.
Well that was a wasted expedition! No-one thought to tell us the rehearsal was cancelled Not a complete loss as the rehearsal venue is opposite a largish Tesco so I was able to pick up a few bits and pieces along with the other three shoppers. Could've lit the wood-burner, though, if we'd known not to go out
Aaw, Flo. But nice to know you're safely home.
Poor Flo-all that effort-for nuffin
Glyn-memories of your quiz inquisitor Michael Miles-or was it Des?- depending on your age
It is errily very bright outside-even without lighting
I am too polite to say- the trouble is I remember both
I love Maltesers and I thought they were less fattening. When you've finished looking at the box Geoff and decided not to you can send it over here. But the postman can't get down the track because of the snow and ice.
Is it just me that doesn't do cms? They keep telling me how deep snow is in cms- I want to know it iin nches
Local tv says we may get more on Sunday
The Malteser are still unopened- have been good
I do cms and ms though not kms. I also do ins and sometimes ft, definitely miles. gs and kgs hold no terrors and I'm fine with ozs and lbs too. In fact thoroughly confused, as was a pupil of mine who said she knew her height: It's 4 feet 3 centimetres, Mrs D
I'm like you Flo. Can chop and change and use either. What gets me is shop workers (usually men) who think you can't work in metric really gets me . had that a lot when we were doing up house!
Goodnight
Morning forkers,
No snow overnight. But I need to do some snow clearance. It's best to keep on top of it.
There's a program on BBC2 tonight (5.30pm) about the Winter of 1963. I can recall going to school during that Winter. We didn't have single day off. I used to go on a bus, and the buses ran however bad the weather. Teachers (and bus drivers) these days have just got too soft.
Morning lovelies!
Had a lie in today. Will be trying out my new cake tin later!! And using all your tips. Hopefully all will be well.
We seem to be a bit thin on the ground this morning. I guess anyone who normally has to get up during the week, is still tucked up in bed.
