Oh well
Knew it would end in tears!
And it started so well-but he was such a gracious loser-not a dry eye in the house
I liked his comment to the effect that at least he got a step nearer this year! Poor old And :- (
Will this one do, Geoff?
I have lost my tenner, someone said it was a safe bet
Yeah
ta
Kate-you've landed safely then-is it squelchy?-sorry about the £10
I had the oddest drive to Cornwall, by the time we left the roads were empty, so although we saw a bit of rain, we had a good journey. My brother came for dinner so there are now no cakes or biscuits in the house.
I need a way to recoup my tenner.
My next tip is lympic related-put it on Murray to win gold.
I thought you might have to swim the last few miles-or at least push the boat out
Can you give me a percentage chance of success?
I am really surprised it is freezing down here, I thought this was supposed to be much warmer than the south east.
Cant do the percentages until I find out the number of entrants-you never know the Outer Mongolia entrant might have a secret talent.
What happened to the gulf stream-will you want the heating put on or did you pack your bed socks?
It is July and the heating is on!!!!!!!!!!
12% chance
I don't think there is a summer heating allowance or cold weather payments for July-something for HMG to look at?
Someone has edited their post
If only they knew someone who could supply logs free of charge
Is 12% worth a tenner?
6 years ago when the lymics were announced for London I did remark that he would be favourite for gold-have not changed my view
I do not have any witnesses to my statement to confirm-but my full house so nearly came up today-I will call that an unoccupied bungalow
I'm a lumberjack and I'm ok-I sleep all night and I work all day
I will not be putting my tenner on him, so he should win.
The lumberjack I know has slept all afternoon, missed the washing up again
That is called timing-or was he just resting their eyes-did he bring his axe?
Well today we are promised a dry day and the good news is all the hosepipe bans have been lifted-including Lottie's and I guess Pam's-now doesn't that make us all feel better?
Bradley Wiggins and Team Sky hold the yellow jersey in Tour de France. You could put a tenner on Bradley to be holding the jersey on the Champs-Elysees in a fortnight's time. He is actually the bookies favourite, though, personally, I regard it as very risky and shall not be investing. It's just too easy to fall off a bike. The odds are here:

The odds on Bradley winning are 10/11. I think that means that if you invest 10 shillings, and he wins, and you make 1 shilling. I really can't see that as the way to make a fortune.
