Geoff, I think it probably is a broken slate from last week's falling branch incident. No time to investigate today, matinee and evening performance.

Saw a large group of what must have been fieldfares (Jo helped me identify on another thread) on my dog walk yesterday. I estimated at least 70, more likely about 100.

Oooh, Darren, hot cross buns, yum. Did you see what you hoped on your birdwatch or did all your 'best' birds stay away until it was over? Doing mine tomorrow though have been spotting out kitchen window this morning to see who's about.

Hello all - sounds like its been dramatic for some of you overnight. No snow here, and its sunny now so I'm hoping that's it for this winter! Ever optimistic!

Off to the DIY shop in a minute, for plasterboard. Then I can get the bedroom sorted - its been chaos since the new shower was put in.

I had a couple of parcels delivered this morning, stuff from ebay. It felt like Christmas!

 Son says he's on his way here  Asked if we have floods but not heard anything yet

Cake for Black Forest Gateau made, braised red cabbage braising, cheese cake worked Cooked it in a loaf tn, takes  up less fridge and table room

Bunny when the man with photo gear had the same thought as you and the dog was jumping on you in the snow????.....

Stress over now, still a bit of tidyng but OH is ontop of that
