aquired a green house with no glass thinking about next year whats the cheapest way

to cover it any ideas much app. thanks

It depends very much on the size and quantity of glass you need. 4mm horticultural glass is the norm but fragile. If the GH is aluminium you will also need clips to secure the panes. If wood then you will still need some 'S' haped hooks to stop panes sliding down the channels and good old fashioned putty and glazing brads.

Acrylic sheets are lighter & far more durable and may be cheaper in the long run as you will be less likely to have breakages. Where to buy?: check out eBay if you have an eBay account. standard 2ft panes have an equivalent metric size of 610mm square so dont be confused if you see 2 ft, 24" or 610mm as sizes - they are all the same!

Alternatively, work out how many pieces you will need and ask a glaziers if they can do you a deal
