I live under a tree in the New Forest, gets a bit cool at this time of year
I am fast digging a hole to disappear down at end of October.
Any funny fungi on your trees WW. Is Woodgreen not off the Holloway road up by Highbury of Arsenal fame?
Night all, she who must be obeyed has called time.
Santa high on magic mushrooms!!!!
I'm definitely not an Essex boy!
Night night all.
Nite nite everyone
Good morning all
No expert, sorry, I was tucked up in bed early yesterday and missed your question.
I believe we established a good while ago that Tower Hamlets is the default location this forum gives to anyone whose ISP address is located outside the UK. Not fantastic I agree, but I believe that this forum has taken off in a way not forseen by the GW magazine and it's publishers, and we do the best we can with it.
A while back (earlier this year, or was it last?) we had a thread with a map on it where we could show our location - I wonder if any of us has the patience to find it and bring it back up to the top?
One of the other idiosyncracies of this forum is the inability to pin anything to the top of the board - c'est la vie
Good morning Brumbull - I'm ready for my second cuppa - are you making ....?
Wow a hello forkers post is created...... And the infamous brumbull is back wow bru bull are you like beetlejuice?? Say your name too many times and you appear???? Lol well I am still inflicted with lurgy it seems to go from bad to worse...... Managed an hour out to a gc yesterday and bought nothing..... See told you I'm sick..... I'm starting to make my Xmas cake today!!!!!! Anyone making cooooffffeeeeee need coffeeee
Hello Stacey, a pot of Hot Java Lava on the go - watch out for the caffeine - that'll sort you out, you'll be grating orange rind and stirring vine fruits like there's no tomorrow (although that would make Christmas cake baking rather pointless )
I've made a decision not to make a fruit Christmas Cake this year - as I'm going to have plenty of time to bake closer to the Big Day, I'm going to make a Chocolate and hazlenut roulade and turn it into a Christmas Log
I'm sorry to hear you have not been well hope you are on the mend now a tour sounds interesting ...... Well the weather is horrid horrid horrid here today it's most def a housework day ...... Mmmmmm coffeeee
Dampish here but still warm.
Sorry that lurgy is still lurking Stacey.
Not supposed to .....don't divide grasses at this time folks......but I'm going to dig up and divide a large miscanthus zebrinus. Hopefully, it won't feel a thing and I will be able to see what it looks like, and will look like, next summer .(all logic says wait but I'm bit impetuous to say the least )
Good morning Verdun You'll probably get away with it, living in near tropical climes - those of us who have the north-east winds to cope with have to be a bit more circumspect
