we here in the west were flooded yesterday and overnight whilst you guys in the east were basking in hot sunshine
this aint right
who's to blame for this?
cars floating in the water and property flooded.....all so unreal after a pretty good summer down here.
will be sending the rain north and east so we return to our (well deserved) sunshine
Looking to be good today.....brighter already but I'm still annoyed

Erm.... We had plenty of rain delivered to the north west last night Verdun so cancel our share of your generous offer and send it south east instead.
Still hot, dry and sunny here in Norfolk
Had to put the sprinkler on the beans again yesterday.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
No floods here , but enough rain to make the grass un-cuttable.
Typical of this country. All the good stuff is always kept for the London area. Those of us out in the provinces are left with the rubbish.
So true KT53. It's a disgrace. I blame the government
Soon as Article 50 is triggered we'll be back to good ol'British weather

Come up to Scotland. Plenty of rain all 'summer'.
I needed to make my drive a bit bigger. So thinking it wouldn't be too hot mid-sept, I ordered 2T chippings to be delivered yesterday!
So in the full sun I was barrowing and spreading chippings in 30c+ heat
I think I invented several new swear words!
PLEASE CAN WE HAVE SOME RAIN!!!!!!!
Sitting in the lounge with curtains drawn today and the fan on and it's already 31c indoors!

Still grey and breezy here near Nottingham.
31C sounds like heaven to me. We've got a miserable 23C forecast, but I'd admit, it's easier to work in 23C than 31C.
Come on guys, we're British, this is weather, it's what we do.
