Just thought I'd update you lovely people. She had her gall bladder op today, though they are keeping her in overnight because she still has a drain in.Fortunately not a 4" hepsleve drain but a plastic tube.It was a little upsetting when I first saw her, maybe because my expectations were unrealistic and the fact I want her home with me.But there you go,hopefully she will be out tomorrow. The main thing though is that the op is done...

Fingers very crossed and lots of positive thoughts winging their way to you and Mrs Fish - hopefully she'll be back home with you very soon where you can give her lots of lovely TLC

Give her lots of get well wishes from the Forkers

Clarington

Glad to hear she's out and tucked up recovering. She'll soon be home!

All my best wishes. I had a lovely dog when I was a teenager. He was very clever and used to do an assault course like you see at cuffs. I used to click my fingers and he would do the course on his own and then come back and sit beside me. Everyone thought it was so clever. In truth, the hard bit was keeping him sat still beside me until I clicked my finger because he loved the course. I miss him but have a cat that steals my seat these days and head buts me at 3.00am. Hopefully, your little lady will be wagging her tail very soon.

LOL Scott. I probably should have explained. Mrs Fish is my wife, though we do indeed have two dogs. Many thanks anyway my friend and heartfelt thanks to all you good people.I can honestly say I've seldom come across such a salt-of-the-earth bunch.Maybe there is a connection there, all gardeners and honest, grounded kind of people?

Fairygirl

Think you've hit the nail on the head Fishy. Most gardeners seem to have an affinity with all that's good in life.

Lots of love winging it's way to you both from all the Fairies here

All my best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Fishy65

Thank you Bal and Mike. She is home now, snoring on the sofa lol.The op took a bit longer than normal and they 'dropped' a gallstone into her abdominal cavity so had to make a further incision. But all's well that ends well.

Mike, thank you for that offer. You are very kind...
