It's my birthday at the end of this month and I am asking my mother in law to get me a plant for my garden for my present. My garden is south facing but the bed it would go in is half shady, soil is quite heavy and clay-ish. I have A newish fence that am trying to disguise and already have honeysuckle and clematis, plus a small apple tree, lilac and climbing hydrangea in that area. Any ideas?
