Hi all ,can anyone suggest a radish thats not to bitter or too hot ,im looking for a medium more sweeter radish than a hot mustardy one that is if there is one,im growing Kings catalouge mixed at the moment and they really are good and grow big but not woody,we tend to like a quick grown bigger radish the mix contained some deep purple and some white ones ,nice to have tried them but still prefer the fat longer ones than the smaller round ones, anyway any radish knowledge out there,if i get an answer i,ll thank you when i get back ,off to Norfolk house hunting talk again soon Good luck Alan4711

Hi Alan,

I would try Mooli. They are the long white ones that get really big and are used a lot in oriental cookery. They are generally much milder that the standard little red demons and just as easy to grow.
