Is it too late to sow flower seed this year ? I have loads and would like to get it all sown , so I can start again

Seeds of what?

hardy annuals, scatter around now.

Hardy biennials sow now and overwinter for flowers next year

perennials - depends on what it is. Always worth giving it a go. They won't grow in the packet and seed deteriorates the longer it is kept.

Like fb says, it won't grow in the packet, sow it.

Sometimes when I get a bit of a backlog of unsown seed I broadcast it around the garden. Some germinates, I probably weed some out because I've forgotten it was there. But I get plants

It is  surprising what can do well even when sown now - and anyway we are all weeks behind, and we will (Hopefully) have a glorious late summer as well as the one we are currently enjoying, so they will have plenty of time in which to grow.  Hope that doesn't come back to haunt me as a  ' whoops ' remark.
