No idea where it is . . . .  but if the date suits, I could be up for that

I think I could get to Barnsdale in about an hour and a half - ish - in the car, and would love to go there.  Normanby Hall does have a lovely walled garden where they trial different vegetable varieties.  There wasn't a great deal else there when we went though.  It is largely thought in these parts to have been completely ruined by the owner placing a group of enormous wind turbines next to it, which have a very doomy effect on some of the views.  But it was quite nice - not sure I would travel a very long way to see it though, personally speaking.  Barnsdale sounds just the ticket.  Best on a school day though in terms of I don't think Mr Bee would let me out if it meant he was on solo child wrangling duty for a whole day!!  I hope you all had a lovely time today.  I suppose if I hadn't stayed home today, I wouldn't have seen my new bees arriving

This first batch of pics are of the late Alan Bloom's original Dell Garden, and then moving on down towards the water meadows and Foggy Bottom.

And then back through the other side of The Dell to the café for a sit down and an ice cream while we watched the wonderfully restored Victorian Gallopers

Some odd bods and hangers on Panda - they even came and sat and ate icecreams with us

Dove, thank you for posting those lovely pics. Loved the flowery top worn by that strange woman.

If you are meeting up with BB in mid Lincs at any time, I could make that
