Once we had a thread where people wrote about what their weather was doing. It was quite useful as people could warn those who were travelling if conditions were bad. Also interesting to see the different conditions in different parts of the country.

Today, in Dordogne, it is has been raining, is now just grey and was 1° this morning.

I've read on other threads that some of you have snow.

Bright and sunny in Newcastle Upon Tyne but bitter cold and another frost last night no gardening yet a long way off Spring I think Busy

Sunny and bright in West Kent, about 2 degrees with a light frost overnight. Heavy clay soil still too wet and cold to think about gardening, hurry up spring!!!

Sunny but freezing in co Durham. Not too far from zenjeff. Quite a cold breeze also brrr  more armchair gardening with magazines and a hot cuppa or housework?Bring on the cuppa!

Sunny, windy, b......y cold.

Still no snow, expecting spring this weekend

Peterborough (ish)

Stockton on Tees, clear azure blue sky and sunshine. Clear towards Durham and Newcastle, I can see the snow on the Cleveland hills ten miles across the valley, the Coastal front usually above us is absent but boy is it cold. Gardening? Another week.

Hard frost in north Manchester. The tops, the pennines  are white with snow

Hard frost here in Nottingham area, but bright and sunny - nice if you stay indoors!

East Manchester a frosty start but soon warmed up and now cloudless sky with bright sun and a light but cool wind. Odd patches of snow in shadowed areas. Great day for a walk.

hard frost overnight, got a job 20 miles away on the NY moors and its got snow all over the site, should be fun!

Cloudy first thing here in Bristol but more and more blue sky appearing. Light easterly wind makes it feel quite cold but is drying the washing nicely.

Chrissy the gardener

Exeter, washing out and it's just started raining drat. It was nice and sunny earlier but feeling quite cold.

Blue sky, no clouds, phone says up to 7 degrees just outside Brighton. I can see a sliver of sea through the bushes and looks just as blue. Im wrapped up inside with a stonking cold but tempted to go out and make the most of the weather by moving my compost heap.

Washing out, Chrissy? Good heavens! It never dries at all outside here in winter.

We still have snow! Was over 8 inches, now varies from none (stone path in sun) to well over the ankles (about 6 inches) on the grass. North side of house still frozen solid. But a brilliant blue and silver glittering day, fine if you wrap up warm

Sharp frost this morning then sunshine , now light rain.

Mildenhall, Suffolk.

Beautiful here....prob 10 degrees.  No wind. No rain. Lovely blue skies . Should post a picture

Blue skies and sun here after a sharp frost over a little snow layer overnight.

About four or five degrees just now, but it'll be down near 1 or 2 by about 4 pm I should think. Some snow tonight possibly, might miss it though.

Pity I have to work

Looking superb tho, eh Fairy?
