Lovetogarden

Nr Lincoln.

We have a had a good day here. 8c and dry with some sunshine, just right for the Christmas Market.

Chris.

Lovely sunny day in Marlow. Got plenty of good digging done at the allotment, leaving large lumps for the frost and snow to break up over the next few months. Ground is sticky in places, but basically not bad at all given the rain over the last few months.

Must have had some hellish rain through the night as the borders in the back garden were under water this morning when I got up at least all the snow has gone,  it's a tropical 6.7c even now it's the warmest it's been all day.

It threw it down again last night & the wind......

This morning, still windy, but much less. Dry but for how long? About 7-8C out there now cf below feezing yesterday! J.

Stockton Bright sunny warmer blue sky and I can see the Cleveland Hills and the details thereon, in other words a day to lift your spirits.

Very sunny with a slight breeze, temp 6c. Forecast for next week not looking good.

Mild was sunny but clouds are now building up. Very, very windy, had to go around the garden collecting pot insulation that had been blown off!!

I have actually put some washing out to flap- but am keeping 1 eye on the windows for rain.... J.

Sunny and clear as a bell - can see Cliveden, Winter Hill ( the Wildwood in Wind in the Willows) and the hills above Henley - all in lovely sharp relief. A good day to venture further into the Chilterns with my camera, perhaps up to Christmas Common with its Christmas tree plantations and a lovely view across the Vale of Oxford - could get some lovely seasonal snaps!

Have been to London and back to the Fens; brilliant sunshine, never put a coat on. Shame I was driving so much, would have been lovely walking weather.

Wall to wall sunshine here today and a tropical 6.7c ground still very wet from the snow on Wednesday and the rain on Thursday,  looks like "The Beast from the East" has done a detour somewhere else  lets hope it has,  don't need or want 3-4 inches of snow this early in the season,  after Christmas will do.

Brilliant sunshine & a lovely blue sky out there today.

Sharp frost last night, just above freezing out there now. Will be wrapping up very well later to go out to carry on cutting back things that have now been frosted. J.

Stockton "err" not quite sure, sun at the moment but it keeps going dark a quick shower then sun again. The wind is biting although drying the wet paves in no time, have to go out tomorrow, think I will stay warm today inside.

Bit like you weather wise Frank my side of The Styx,  did have a hail shower this morning as I was coming back from taking the dog out but didn't last long,  not very warm today either at 3.5c and a very naughty Westerly wind that cuts right through,  last rays of sunshine breaking through the clouds

COld cold cold and its going to get colder. Friends visiting for the day tomorrow so the laughter should keep us warm

Nippy and damp in the Fens, but it isn't as cold as it could be for December.

Christmas shopping in Maidenhead ( much joy! ), blinding sunshine but pretty nippy - still pretty good for the time of year.

Just had a hellish hail shower,  boy did they hurt the head real hard they came down would happen while I was out with the dog then it stopped as we were coming back typical  dropping down now to 1.2c,  and according to the weather men this "Beast from the West" front is not going to be as bad as they thought as it's veered away from us but it's still going to be cold with freezing fog,  think I would rather have that than snow

A very nippy morning in the Fens, fabulous sunrise, thick frost on the gate.
