a lovely sunny day ,for one moment  I thought it was spring then I saw the forecast snow next week,I could cry.

Fog today, gradually cleared. Cold, only reached about 4-5C.

Hope tomorrow better, need to empty rubbish out of greenhouse & go up to the tip! J.

Wall to wall sunshine here but very very cold hasn't got much above 3c my side of The Styx today in fact this morning it was a total white out with ground frost which in the shade just didn't shift at all

Best way of describing today is murky. Late last night there was a frost, no sign of it this morning, just damp and murky

Plaesed I did loads of gardening yesterday

Lovely morning here after a frosty, misty start.

Felt rather chilly when I walked round the garden, but lots of bulbs appearing, hellebore in bloom,lovely maroon flowers,witch hazel looking good, aconites and various bits of interest if you look closely.

After the fog of yesterday it's trying to brighten up out there.

Only about3-4C outside, so apart from feeding the birds & removing rubbish from the, empty of plants, greenhouse, am keeping busy inside. J.

Damp and chilly in this part of the NW today with frost in the air tonight.

Might need sno trax here, there's still chance of snow, before the weather gets warmer, Rain.  

Just been on Sky News there is indeed snow on the way starting over the weekend with temps droppind dow to -5c over the next few nights,  been drismal here today,  dark,  damp and  dismal

Pea souper of a fog through the night but no frost this morning but it's still very drismal

Damp, murky again very cold with gusts of wind. Lights have not been off yet

We are right under a weather front fighting it out above us in Stockton. The coastal side is fair and bright the inland side dull and wet, it is sunshine and showers alternating as the front moves.
I think I will just got to the Beach with my wind break umbrella and hot water bottle.

Gail force god knows winds ,our shed is well tied down or it would be in the field next to  the allotment, and that's not joking, there's funny looking tall mounds of compost standing all around like dark soily snowmen because there  compost bins are all blowing across the field  again, and another shed roof is looking a bit ominous iv just leaned 2 scaffold planks against it hopefully to stop it blowing over,the allotments  are all now just wet boggy cold sorry looking battle sites, its us against the weather at the moment down here in South Wales and maybe snow on the way  apart from that I'm the only one up here and the only  sounds are  the birds the wind and the kettle whistling and i love it  what do they say onwards and upwards milk and one sugar coming ,a pint tonight  and start clearing the allotment up tommorrow if weathers ok
