Nr Lincoln.

Very cold night followed by dull morning, but the sun has now appeared and we have a bit of a thaw, snow melting nicely let's hope it continues to do so.

Nice while it lasted, here in Stockton we had blue sky and sunshine, the snow was melting at a good rate and then, black clouds and heavy snow it is heading South now and all the melt has been replaced twofold, definitely not going out in it.

Pottie Pam

Just been out for an hour or so doing a bit more clearing up in the garden and not as cold as I expected.

Did you see any baby seals at Godrevy, Verdun? I once saw a seal there with a little yellow hat on and no-one believed me but when they release rescued seals back into the wild they sometimes do put a marker with a number on to track their progress.

Bright sunny and v v v cold. The plan for this week was to go to Gun Wharf quays in Portsmouth but the forcast is not good so will stay in the warm at home.

Just looked at the front room windows talk about filthy so guess what my job is this afternoon.

Hello pottie Pam, yes do see the seals there quite often. Just up the road from me

The Fens; Brilliant sunshine and a wonderful sunset over the white fields, breathtakingly beautiful. No more snow since last night.

Sunshine and high cloud here in Stockton, snow, solid ice on the road and DDD====M Cold.

Here in Malvern freezing fog, thick hoar frost. -5C inside greenhouse so can add -2 onto that for outside. Watering cans in GH are frozen.

Snow forecast tomorrow!

TOOOOOO COLDDDD to even walk on paths round garden, and I've run out of bird nuts!

very cold and icy, cant ride out tomorrow as ground to slippery, hate this time of year!!!

It was -4.5C first thing here this morning & only about0.5C even now.

A weak sun sometimes, but am sure felt sleet/spitting in the wind when crossing a carpark just now. J.

Highland Jeannie

Was -4c here at 8 o'clock this morning; about 1c during the day & a bit overcast; it's currently .8c in the shed.

They keep telling us that the snow is coming...........

flowering rose

its coming Friday to the west,so getting ready with the salt, shovel and sledge.very cold this evening.

It was -7.5c last night when I took the dog out then through the night dropped down to -7.8c hasn't got above freezing all day,  the highest it got to was -0.9c it's now -6.1c and dropping so another very cold night.

Highland Jeannie

+2c when I got in at 10 o'clock.

According to this evening's forecast we should be just too far north for tomorrow's snow.  However Friday (when we're due to be out for the evening) looks like a different story ................

Highland Jeannie

Hope it's not as bad as they say it's going to be for you all.

A friend slipped over on ice yesterday & broke a finger; miles from anywhere, on her own & no mobile reception, she was so lucky that it wasn't worse.  So please take care folks!

Looks cold out there this morning, snow on the ground still from Monday. Supposed to be going to minus 4 over next couple of days. Roll on the weekend so that I can stay in bed.

Yes, we've still got deep snow - about 8" - and it's bitterly cold - can't tell you how cold - I think a Christmas pressie from MIL might be a garden thermometer, but as we didn't get to hers for Christmas due to Norovirus, I've not got my pressie yet

However, from this it looks as if we're in for some more soon, and those of you a bit west from here are going to get more than us from the looks of it   Good luck and stay warm and safe.
