Woke up to find everywhere covered in what looked like icing sugar!  Think it was extremely thin layer of snow, the beautiful sunshine soon melted the front but the back garden, in shade, didn't melt until mid afternoon.  Bit misty early on too.

I see news talking about a -15 arctic blast ...brrrrr. Hopefully not !!
Was expecting frost this morning but so far sunny and frost free, looks cold though

-5 in the shed, frosty!  Luvverly sunshine tho'

Stockton is dull and I did think slightly warmer, that was until a mob of holy rollers landed at the door and started preaching to the wrong man I am afraid. By the time they left I was freezing.

Very cold yesterday , still only 1degree and cloud hoping to wrap up and clean the greenhouse and get ready for better weather

Stockton dull dark cold, our weather is from Siberia, we know better than to even think garden for another two weeks.

Brrrrr very cold and dull, but the hills are clear. Garden looks sad I think as if it's craving for a little warmth

Must admit to doing some gardening even in the bitter cold,  I just had to get some Primroses in that I got 3 weeks ago if not longer,  it has been bitter cold here and a few snow flakes flitting about for the last 3 days so I reckon that someone somewhere must have had some serious snow,  the highest it's been today was 2.9c it's 1.0c now and the gritter has just gone up the road !

Cold here....4 degrees ......dry, cloudy, not much wind. Tomorrow is supposed to be even colder! Last week I was convinced winter's worst had passed

Awwww poor mite been a balmy 1 degree all day here ...scorching !

. Arrrrrrrr .

Cold and dull here, fortunately it didn't rain so the GH got a good clean. The battery has gone on my max/min temp gauge. This is the 2nd one, they only seem to last a year. I can't get the back off to change the battery, it's welded in place  Clearly a selling point which works in favour of the manufacturer

Hehe things just don't last these days zoomer

Best max-min thermometer I ever had (glass/mercury in wood case edged with brass) must have already been 30 years old when I was given it 30 years ago.  It only stopped working when a 70ft ash tree fell on the greenhouse and smashed everything into teeny weeny pieces.  I'm just glad I wasn't in it at the time, or they'd still be finding bits of me in the garden like I keep unearthing shards of greenhouse glass!

Freezing !! Tiny flakes of snow now too.

Cold, but at last the sun has come out

2c and no wind so doesn't feel too cold.

We have snow and it's coming down fairly thick, wouldn't it be a shame if I can't get the car of the road for work on Monday

Well Bob, that'll teach you not to erect a GH near a tree! Checked out the cost of a replacement Max-Min thermometer - £16.99  in plastic green, not a hint of brass, might be more economical to get a weather station, at least they come with instructions as to how to change the battery
