If only we could have two whole days without any rain at all it would be something to celebrate.
Has just clouded over ready for todays bout of rain, have put some Zinnia's in with fingers firmly crossed.
East Midlands has a cold (-0.7) but sunny start.
The forecast is for white cloud all day.
The garden is slowly drying out until the next deluge!

Grey, cloudy, showers, really cold wind in Kent today
Just had a hail shower but the sun is now out.
Very chilly, though.
Teesside.Left home for Nunthorpe in sunshine, three miles later in raging down pour arrived at Nunthorpe in sun but bitter cold.Had a great Party "err" I think, woke up in my Hotel room to brilliant sunshine over the Roseberry Topping, what a view. A nice slow breakfast then wandered home into pouring rain. Two sides of the river Tees and two weather systems.
East Midlands at 15.30 now has........................rain!!!!!
Oh well try again tomorrow
Its nice and sunny now Frank, you should have waited a bit longer, bitter cold though this morning when I got up 3.3c in the garden and only 8.7c now, supposed to get down to -5 through the night now wonder my seeds aren't growing.!
I've woken up to a very wet and dismal day Starting to really tire of this weather now.
I work solidly all through autumn and winter sometimes eighteen hours a day (I am a person of extremes) so, come spring, I am in need of rest and relaxation and gardening is my ability to recover from all that exhausting work, but at this rate, I might as well keep working!
East Midlands is beautifully sunny this morning
Brenda I too am surprised to seeClear blue skies the sun shining on meThe odd puff ball, contrails oh so highFrom passenger jets as they go flying by,
The meat's in the oven I open the doorOut into the sunshine vitamin D to storeI soak up the sunshine check out the bordersWill try to sort out the current disorder,
Sweet peas to go out tomato's to settleHerbs to pot on and bushes to fettleSome back breaking work but also timeIn a favourite seat soaking up the sunshine.
Has summer arrived I wonder, hope it does for you soon Wintersong.
Yet another morning spent working in the garden in the rain.
I can handle the rain and we do need it, but I just want it to warm up. Looking at the temperature gauge just a few moments ago, it's still to rise above +7 degrees and has been like this for weeks!
I also feel for the few NGS gardens that are open in my area. The rain and cold can't be doing then any favours.
