Overcast but warm in Somerset, nice enough to sit outside again.

It stayed dry here and was a lot warmer than yesterday.

Always nice to see the first flowers on toms, sadly they are on the plant's I bought, my home sown ones have a long way to go yet.

Planted out a sad looking lot of pea seedlings. Very disappointed with pea's this year, most seedlings have died, so another last lot has been sown.

Overcast and very windy again  grrrrrrrrrr

Stockton dull and dour though warm, the plants seem to like it and the peas are flowering, beans reaching for the skies, so not all bad then.

Started off dull & dampish in WManchester today. Ended up quite warm with some sun.

I have moved a lot of plants from the coldframes to by house walls to finish hardening off. Things from the greenhouse are now in the coldframes, slightly open. Tomato plants are now in closed up greenhouse along with the morning glory seedlings. The tomatoes were just getting too big in the porch. I'll get them finally potted up next week.

Fleece sheets are to hand, but so far so good.... J.

Rain this morning which (for a change) wasn't forecast, dried up by lunchtime and some sunshine this afternoon, but still too bloomin' cold for May.  I am beginning to wonder if I will even get to plant out  this year.   We've had a couple of warmer days but by no means settled yet.

The morning started off bright and cloudless.

I've been leaving the GH door open everyday and opening the plastic GH, closing both when I get home in the evening. Everything looks like it's itching to grow but just need's some heat and sun.

Dull at the moment but we had late sunshine yesterday afternoon and the evening was beautiful,so hopeful it will bighten up later.

It's February here in Kent. and not the surprisingly warm sunny kind of February either.

Dull and dry in Stockton, the troilus is blooming and the Rhododendron's too so the plants are enjoying it.
Daughter in California tells me they got home from here to 89F, to hot to eat she says, can she ship some over I ask?

89F would be nice for a while.but I don,t think I could stick it for too long.Maybe your daughter could just ship over enough for the Bank Holiday, Frank

Poured with rain for 5th day running, ground sodden and squelchy, 10°.  SW France!

Whilst I was at work the sun finally came out to play, got home this evening and all the french beans were sprouting.

Dull start, but definate signs of blue skies, beautiful red skies last night,so have high hopes of a better day.

Blue Sky and fluffy white clouds plus Sunshine in Stockton today, definitely warm, doors and windows open so Sonny the Corgi come Jack Russel is galloping in and out wanting to play. We have him 9 to 4 as his owners next door are at work otherwise he would be locked in, I hate the thought of that.
Honeymooners back today from Greece so need to fill the fridge for them, its all go.

Cloudy, windy, but at least it's not actually raining at last and it's 13° so warmer than yesterday.

WManchester- the sun has just come out! Wind quite strong though. Off to cut the lawn next.

Tonight shall be popping fleece over things in my cold greenhouse & the 1 coldframe that cant be shut because the dahlias in their pots are already too tall, but not yet fully hardenend off. J.

Warm and sunny here with clear blue skies and the occasional white cloud.

I have some dahlias already potted up and outside, only two tubers sprouted from the one's saved though, which was a tab bit disappointing.  The seed sown one's are in the GH, still very small but looking good.
