Hail storm at lunchtime … I think someone is trying to tell us it's time to hibernate!

BobTheGardener

Had one of those 'orrible' days - lashing it down going to work, sunny blue skies while at work and then raining on the way home.  Just the opposite of what you want really.

MrsGarden
South Yorkshire - a dusting of snow last night sitting on the roads and grass. Soon washed away with the rain. Fine but cold now.

Rain washed away the snow rapidly & since then it's been quite cold. About 1c tonight, somehow I think that it'll go lower during the night!

Temp tonight going down to 4 but rising to 9 tomorrow in the sunshine.  Yep, dry n sunny tomorrow     Dry today and got some things sorted in the garden

Beautiful Autumn day! Cool but v. nice. I need a degree or two more temperature to lure me out to close my garden down for the duration. I am a woos at times.

It's not going to be a white Christmas here in this part of the NW, more wet and windy.

The Christmas Tree was brought indoors last week, Zoomer makes a mental note to repot in a plastic pot and use lighter croc's next time.

Very dark

Hope your back is ok Zoomer.

It's been mild here, 5c this morning and 3c this evening, no wind or snow. Lovely day. Just off to bed...travelling up to Aberdeen later in the week and the forcast isn't good...back to rain and wind on Friday

Very cold, still and frostie here. Supposed to be the best day of the week as winds due again tomorrow.

Not looking too bad this morning.  Yesterday was okish too.

But lots of flooding in some parts and a "second storm coming" tonight.  It must be a nightmare for those vulnerable to flooding.

Be careful cos there are some idiots driving out there .....nothing will stop them driving at speed...??

Sharp frost last night, thawing now.  Very calm and still.  I think son is cancelling his trip to S Wales tomorrow!!!

Thinking of those enduring flooding and power cuts

Bristol News

Seagulls on the conservatory roof eating bread so it must be rough in The Bristol Channel....2 fences down and bright sunshine and ice on the pond and a one eyed wood pigeon sat under my bird feeder !!

Here in Surrey  near Wisley its very foggy, roads flooded due to river banks braking. We are ok as we have flood barriers. We have lost 3 fence panels and my fir tree is looking very drunk having been up rooted by the wind!! Shall be putting my wellies on now to clear up the fallen branches. Could be worse-even though there is more to come!
