Bright blue sky and sunshine - what a treat!  But as I look across the Bristol Channel to Wales I can see ominous, dark skies, ditto over Exmoor, so it won't be long before it tips it down again.  April showers?

Well, what do you know - it is chucking it down with huuuuge hailstones!  Oh, me poor tulips!

20/04/2012 at 10:59

Oh, poor you! I hope that it doesn't damage them - so sad after waiting all year for the show.

After 'wall-to-wall rain, it's brightened up, so off to make the most of it while it lasts!

I am in N.London/Essex border - it has rained everyday (it feels like years!) for the last few weeks. Rain, hail, dark, overcast & windy.  The barometer dropped to the lowest point on the dial the other night & I think I might be suffering from RUST!  We have a hosepipe ban at the moment but don't care as I've also filled a plastic dustbin as well as my waterbutt and that is just from a shed roof!

I can see clearly now, the rain is gone

Bluer sky wth the odd break of sunshinehere on the northeast coast.

Thanks marshmello!  I thought we were supposed to get the best of the weather in the 'soft' South!

Sunshine/showers/sunshine/showers here on the southern edge of Dartmoor. Still chilly at night, so off to tuck up tender stuff in the greenhouses and turn on heated propagators.

AuldAlliance, can't help being impressed by your avatar.

Perhaps not the right thread, but this is from my own garden.

East Midlands today. Rain, rain and more rain. Water butts are overflowing and the garden is sodden. Can someone up there please turn off the tap!

Bramley in Leeds, West Yorkshire is dry....................waheyyyyyyy!!

We've had enough rain this last week, I'm surprised I haven't grown  webbed feet & a beak and transplanted myself into the local pond

Rained all week on and off and have had a few casualties in the garden but hey-ho, onwards and upwards.

Going into the shed today to plant some summer flowering annuals ( if I'm not too late) to replace the grape hyacinths and daffs in pots that are just about done with for this year.

What is everyone else planting at the moment? and am I too late with my annuals?
