Hi

I have about an acre of rough ground to mow with some pretty steep slopes. Was looking at the DR field & brush mower as an option. We are fed up with 'pushing' our underpowered mowers up hill, too hot in this weather!

We have a braken problem and must keep cutting until we get the better of it (or it gets the better of us), after that I'm hoping to allow it to run to meadow with a few cuts a year.

Have a look at the RHS website and your local wildlife trust. There are lots of sites which have not been updated as regards banned herbicides, in particular Asulam, so beware of these.

Thanks, we intend on tackling the bracken by cutting cutting cutting, so far it rewards us by coming back stronger, but it must weaken eventually. Musn't it?
