Can anybody recommend the best all-round tool to do a lot of weeding in my vegetable patch now that almost everything is harvested.

Unfortunately, I was unable to keep up with the weeding all summer as usual and now I need to throw myself into it, so to speak. Some of the weeds are so strong that a rake or hoe will not touch them.

I have one of those cultivators. _4 spikes and a centre point. You put it in and turn it round and weeds are dislodged. without gigging. I have a bad back, foot, shoulder so means I can still garden and easy to move weeds http://www.amazon.co.uk/Faithfull-MPCULT-Multi-Prong-Cultivator/dp/B003KIY8WU/ref=sr_1_1?s=outdoors&ie=UTF8&qid=1353264259&sr=1-1
