Lol Discodave. I have an old toilet I found when I worked as a storeman for a joiners yard a couple of years ago. I got the old toilet (which was just dusty ) and two Belfast sinks for nothing. They were about to throw them out. I'm just looking for an old chimney pot now to go amongst my wooden mushrooms. I'm all for recycling
Yeah, I live in an old victorian house and would love an old victorian chimney pot to use as a planter but they are crazy expensive to buy. I also love the idea of using an old belfast sink as a mini pond.
Whwn we had one of chimneys removed from this house - 60 years old- I not only have the pot but also the liners that went up the stack. Really good pot sized containers. Have used 5 still have 6 to go. Keep an eye on houses being done up, chimney liners going to skip!! NO mine are not available
Thats what i have just put in
I just need to give it all a rinse down and the seal the plug and fill it up. They get some plants in
Sam Glendinning, is that you sitting in the sink?
Sami G Surely you need a bit of drainage? So why seal the plug? Sorry; I've just given you a new name
I love the name Artjak My best mate that is no longer with us used to know me as Sami G That really made me smile. Thank you
Disco dave, no. I have blood red hair for a start lolol. That is Kevin. Hes only half there so he sits in the huff. I have the gate keeper too who is ready to attack the wireworm in the plot behind him, a skull called Harley and a rather large fellow called sprocket
Disco Dave...meet the family lol...
Kevin the grump, The Gate Keeper, Harley, Colin and Dobie. Sproket is inside just now (Hes a little Dragon curled up) along with the other 17 as not sure if they are frost proof. Dobie and Willow the cat get on very well lol
Oh, the sink is for a little pond so dont want drainage Its been planted for years and decided that I would have a wee change.
