I have a wisteria "rosea" plant that i would like to form into a tree style. It is now about 6ft

tall and,i would appreciate any advise available on how to set about this task.

I assume the Rosea is just an ordinary varietiy of Wisteria, and doesn't require any special treatment, and what you mean by 'tree style' is a 'standard' - a vertical trunk, with a lot of foliage at the top.

There is some advice on the RHS website, which tells you how to train a Wisteria into a standard. It's on this page, under the heading ''Training as standards":
