Hi all,

in people's experiences, what are the best plants for attracting butterflies apart from budeia.

thanks,

Sedums  are very good Justin, and easy to grow.

I bought some eupatorium last year and they were covered in butterflies and bees all the time they were in flower, but they are quite tall, but also architectural.

Buddleias, of course.

Agastaches...the humming bird plant....attracted bees aNd butterflies last year.  Heleniums too seemed to attract butterflies late in the season.

I second Euphatorium, very attractive to butterflies! Also Aster 'Little Carlow'.

If you go to the garden centre and ask for Sedum Spectabile plants, butterflies and bees love them, i bought some today : )

I've planted sedum, liatris, lupins and butterfly weed now as well as the buddleia
