 I have some clumps of cumphrey on my allotment.The bees love it! I use it to make liquid feed and as a compost accelerator.

Most definatly should have squidged those lily beetles ! My lillies not doing too well this year, I think the slugs have nibbled the buds, they all look stunted !

Those lily beetles were mating, so you now need to check beneath every leaf for the eggs.  Luckily, the eggs are also bright red so easily spotted!  If you let them hatch, you'll soon find little brown gooey blobs appearing (the larvae, which live inside their own excrement - yuck!) and can devastate lily plants in very short order.  Squash on sight!

I had a ball yesterday squishing lily beetles in my friends' garden

Thanks Bob realised they were mating, there were others at it too!  Dont think i will be squishing today its raining here.
