I have the cover of old sandpit under shrubs in shady spot of the garden, holds wateringcan full of water, used as birdbath for years, frogs often found under it, anyway for first time ever frogspawn found in it. Worried it won't survive! I would normally top it up with tap water, which if I don't it'll dry up anyway but worried how to look after it best

Hi I own a Local Wildlife Site in Tiptree with a few natural ponds and saw my first very large batch of frog spawn today! I saw lots of movement on the surface of one of the ponds and when I investigated it turned out to be frogs - This is the first year I have found spawn in this pond and I can't wait to watch it develop,
