Frost

Hi everyone, first time poster, but long time reader.

I have just walked round my very frosty but sunny garden and it confirmed my view that excessive tidying is a bad thing [my wife would confirm that this does not just apply to the garden] Anyway the seed heads of eryngium, echinops and the echinacea are looking wonderful, as are the ornamental grasses. Not only looking good but good for the wildlife. Luckily the soil is too frozen to do any work, but a bit of planning or maybe some seed ordering will pass the time

Totally agree, looks good and you're doing your bit for the other inhabitants of the garden.

your right,more damage can be done messing about trying to be too tidy.You will find seed heads and all sorts look amazing with the frost on them.The only thing I did a bit late in the day was to bring my clay pots in,don't want them splitting.
