    28 days on average for mallard eggs to hatch as opposed to chicken eggs which take 21 days. I only know this as I used to hatch them in an incubator at school so my pupils could watch the whole magical process. image

    Yes, they will hatch at around 28 days and then mother duck will take them to water, either a pond or stream which you hopefully have nearby. Takes about 8 weeks before they are fully fledged.
