Ever wondered where all the cherries go? Blackbirds having a field day on the wild cherry tree today.

This mature roe deer stag turned up this afternoon and has been coming into the garden for at least the last couple of years. I recognise him from his torn ear.


My thief is my husband - recognise him from the gulity look on his face - 😁


My three year old Stella cherry tree managed to set about a dozen fruits this year and a jackdaw scoffed the lot at one sitting. I'll have to net it next year.
