My pond, I think,should now be called more of a damp ditch
although it's fairly deep in places. Some steps have been added to aid entry/exit.
I've have scooped out loads of leaves during the Autumn, but am leaving it to its own devices now. Around the pond/ditch is a woodland area that I've been developing so I'm hoping the toads are tucked up under a wood pile

I'm not inclinded to do much clearing as others have said i think there is much life hibernating at the moment.
