Tripinnate
A compound leaf that's composed of pinnate leaflets, which are arranged on a bipinnate structure of veins and midrib. See Bipinnate and Pinnate.
Triploid
Having three sets of chromosomes, as opposed to the usual two of the diploid. Triploid plants are invariably sterile.
Truncate
A leaf that has a distinctively square end, which may give the appearance of having been cut off.
Tuber
A storage organ that can take the form of a fleshy root or underground stem, from which new growth develops.
