Obcordate

Referring to a heart-shaped leaf, where the stalk (petiole) is attached to the point of the heart.


Oblanceaolate

A leaf that's wider at the top than the bottom.


Oblong

An elongated leaf, with broad parallel sides and tapering quickly to a broad point.


Oblong-orbiculate

An oblong-shaped leaf that's almost as long as it is wide, and has a round appearance.


Oblong-ovate

An oblong leaf, with sides that curve in at either end.


Obovate

A leaf shaped like a teardrop, with the stem or stalk attached to the tapering point.


Obtuse

Used to refer to a leaf that has a blunt, rounded end or tip.


Odd-pinnate

Oedema

A physiological condition resulting from the build-up of moisture. Symptoms are brown, corky spots on leaves. It isn't contagious, but it's often mistaken for galls.


Offset

A shoot or plantlet produced at the base of a mature plant, which may be used for propagation.
