When is Gardeners World going 'modern'? It's so old-fashioned not to include deaf people in programmes now. Gardening is one of the productive employments we can do, there's so many activities we can't follow, so how about subtitles?

What has subtitles got to do with growing salad leaves???

I don't see any reason you couldn't grow salad leaves in lengths of guttering.  A friend of mine used to start her peas in that way and then move them into the garden when ready.

Hi Ann - I know your enquiry was brought up in this thread....

It does explain that the GW programme has nothing to do with this site and there is an email address mentioned for BBC contact......

Hope this helps........
